Time Out: Happy Birthday

We're back with another challenge at Time Out!  We are so lucky to have Michele, from I Card Everyone, with us for this challenge.  She is a genuine sweetheart whom I am so lucky to have met in person.  Her gorgeous CAS style never disappoints and she gave us a beautiful card to to CASE.  I love how crisp and clean the die cut thanks looks against her beautiful stamping.  I think you can see how I was inspired.  I inked up the bottom of my card and then stamped the flowers on in Versamark and embossed them before adding a bit more ink. I layered my die cut with black behind it.  You can see I'm not great at making the sentiment line up super well but am pleased with the end result!

I hope that you can come play along with us.  We're sponsored by Happy Little Stampers
And the winner will receive a $15 gift certificate to their store.

Curtain Call: Thankful for You

This week we are inviting you to join us for...

Don't you just love that clean, crisp fall inspiration photo! At first thought I'd go for the woodgrain, but had the opportunity to use these fun Reverse Confetti stamps and quickly changed gears. This card has gone off to a co-worker congratulating him on a work anniversary.

How about you?  How are you inspired? We'd love for you to pop on over and play with us at Curtain Call!

Merry Christmas

Happy Saturday my friends. If you've been around here much you know how much I love the color combo of pink, blue and green with a touch of silver for Christmas!  It is one of my favorite go to combinations and of course I love a good CAS card!  So I think this is perfect for the current challenge over at Happy Little Stampers to make a CAS Christmas card.  I stamped the stripes down the left and then added the front panel to finish this off.

Okay - no time to chat this to the chiropractic due to a bit of sciatic pain (nothing too bad)...and then off to do a walk (which I was supposed to run) with Marcel and Jonathon to benefit lung cancer awareness.  Should be a great day!

Time Out: With Deepest Sympathy

We're back with another challenge at Time Out!  THEME Sympathy with the optional twist of distressing (using Distress Inks, distress edges, paper tearing etc).  I went along with the optional twist and used distress inks to ink up a sheet of paper and sprinkled some water on it before die cutting them with these fabulous Lawn Fawn leaf die cuts.  I have had these for about three years and love pulling them out each fall.  Used a little twine to finish this off.

I hope that you can come play along with us. We're sponsored by Happy Little Stampers.  And the winner (who optionally twist) is eligible for a $15 gift certificate to their store.  Sue is also our guest designer and you will love her gorgeous designs.  Be sure to pop on over to her blog too!

Curtain Call: Grateful for You

Welcome to the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

This week we are inviting you to join us for...

I had this post all ready to roll and forgot to publish it!  Whoops!  But no worries better than late than never right!  This card was one I made at my crafty weekend too. Love getting to use stamps and dies that I don't own and I never seem to have enough thank you cards.  So this was perfect for this challenge.

I hope to see you over at Curtain Call!  Please come play along!

Fun-Filled Christmas

Happy Happy Monday!  A post two days in a row!  What's a happening around here? Well...I have lots of pre-made cards waiting for the perfect challenge to play along.  The gorgeous die cover plate on this card was given to us from Lil Inkers when we attended our crafty get away!  I love the beautiful detail on it and made several of these cards to ship off to friends and family for Christmas. The red and white pops on the Merry Monday inspiration photo along felt like the perfect challenge to play along. I'm happy to say that my Christmas cards are all ready to go...just need a family picture and to get on with addressing envelopes!  Happy that I can say this at the end of October!  Hope yours are coming along well too!

Hi...Miss You...

Happy Sunday my friends. Popping in with a card for the current CASology challenge: Cherish. I was away a few weekends ago on a crafty weekend.  That is time I cherish for certain!  While I was away I made two of this same card.  One went to my oldest, Ryan, who is in his sophomore year at Ohio University and the second one went to my niece who moved out to San Francisco this year and started her first job as a chemical engineer. Love and miss them both tons so I thought these cute little texting bubbles were perfect for them.  Love and cherish them both!

Hope you are having a wonderful day and have had some crafty time this weekend!
